Corefulness® @Work Programme

Corefulness @work is an on-line, workplace ergonomics, self assessment programme.

It is based on The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Regulations 1992 (amended 2002) ensuring compliance of the legislation.

The HSE Display Screen Equipment regulations 1992 state that: an employer, of over five employees, must protect their workers from the health risks of working with display screen equipment such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

The HSE DSE regulations apply to workers who use DSE daily, for an hour or more at a time.

In law, employers must:

  • Provide a DSE Workstation Assessment for all employees, current and new, and reassessment should occur if there are changes in individual capability or if there is any significant change to an employee’s workstation

  • Reduce risks by providing required equipment and ensure workers take breaks from DSE work

  • Provide eye and eye sight tests, if the worker requests one

  • Provide training and information for the worker

  • Compliance with Health and Safety Display Screen Equipment Regulations

  • User friendly, video based ergonomic assessment

  • Online questionnaire to ensure correct workstation set-up

  • Certificate provided for employer HR file to record legislative compliance

  • Easy to follow exercise programmes to keep the body stretched and moving to minimise injury and maximise efficiency

Why Corefulness® @Work?

Whether you are an individual, a student, an employee or employer, the Corefulness @work module will give you reassurance that your workstation is set up correctly.

More people are working from home than ever before, employees unable to access the office, pupils unable to attend school.

The daily commute to work or school has been lost and the impact of poor seated ergonomics, reduced exercise and reduced movement breaks between meetings or lessons has led to a sharp rise in related musculoskeletal disorders.

The Corefulness @work module aims to provide a simple, user friendly on-line solution which will ensure the workstation is set up correctly, risk of pain and injury is minimised and it provides you with easy to follow exercise programmes which target those muscles affected by working in the desk based environment.
